Statement of Faith and Message

Ministry of the Mid Valley Quartet

Our mission and ministry is primarily to churches.  God placed on our hearts a burden to encourage pastors, lay leaders, and church members in their walk with and service to God, as well as present the gospel message in song.  Each song is selected carefully.  We are not entertainers but desire to serve your church and lead in the joyful worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   All of the songs that we sing in our worship service can be heard on any of our three recordings (tapes or CD’s).  We look forward to worshiping with you.

Our Beliefs

The Holy Bible is complete and without error.  It is inspired by God. 

 II Timothy 3:16-17

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  God loves each person and created us to know Him personally.

John 3:16 John 17:3

We believe in the deity of Jesus, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His Miracles, His atoning death through His blood shed on the cross, His burial and bodily resurrection on the third day.  We believe in His Second Coming in power and glory.

We believe that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to salvation.  Each person must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then he or she can know God personally and experience His love.

When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth.

John 3:1-8

Anyone can receive Christ into his or her heart and life by faith through praying a simple prayer of confession of sin, repentance of sin, and inviting Christ in.

Christians grow in grace and in the knowledge of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through daily Bible Study, Prayer, and joining and serving in a New Testament Church that teaches and preaches the gospel message explained above.

While no religious ordinance saves a person, we believe that Christ gave two ordinances to us through His example and command.  Scriptural baptism by immersion (Matthew 3:13-17) and the Lord’s Supper (Luke 22:19-20).
