I have written many letters to you in my head,
now it's time to really do it.
We have obviously enjoyed your music and talents
for several years. Some of the reasons are because the music and
lyrics reach inside of us to our very core and move us spiritually.
We've never attended one of your concerts or appearances without our
eyes getting wet because what you are singing or testifying about
the Lord with such conviction and sincerity and we are moved in our
hearts to say "Amen" to what we are hearing. You have strengthened
our walk, you have given us the tools of your music on CD's and
tapes to reach out to others. So often we play your music in our
vehicles as we travel, it gives us peace, it uplifts us, it causes
us to thing about our Savior and we can picture the times we've been
with you as you performed these songs. All those things are a
blessing to us. Because we know and have experienced many times the
drawing power of the Lord at these appearances, we invite others
knowing now how many that power can reach; and, we are seeing the
maturing of our walk with the Lord as well as others. As an elder
in our church, I want you to know that you are a tool for the Lord
in Surface Creek Community Church. You have treated each invitation
to come as an invitation from the Lord Himself. Your music and
lyrics refresh our congregation and our community in general because
of your servant attitude. We know your coming is not without great
sacrifice to each of you. It's obvious that you are blessed, as
well as those of us hearing your testimonies of your conversions;
and, your joy at serving Jesus Christ shine through every minute we
have spent with you, whether you are singing or just fellowshipping
with us. In one of your songs, you talk about Christians being
together in Heaven and sharing our stories, loving each other there
and enjoying Jesus and family together, that picture is so clear.
Though we neither can sing a lick now, how we look forward to being
able to sing with you in Heaven, singing praises to His wonderful
name. In all your music the message of knowing the Lord, of serving
Him and praising Him are so powerful and you bring us close to
Jesus. Don's lyrics especially are so powerful, maybe someday soon
you will be able to make a CD of just his songs along with your
testimonies in live concert, how we would love that.
This is Sunday, the Lord's Day, and we are hoping
and praying for each of you today to have a blessed day and that it
won't be too long before we are where you are as you sing and praise
our Lord. God Bless each one of you.

"Over the years I have had the privilege of having
the Mid-Valley Quartet in the church for Inspirational Concerts.
Their songs convey the message of the Bible and emphasize salvation
and the Christian walk. The music is appealing to all ages of
people. Their stage presences are above reproach. I am very
impressed with their Christian Testimony in their day to day life.
Two members of the quartet are in the church. I have the
opportunity of fellowshipping with them and their families when they
are not touring. I recommend them without any reservations. The
Lord is using them to reach the hearts of the lost and to encourage
Christians.
Personally, I enjoy the songs that Don has
written. We listen to their CD's in our home. The music lifts up
our spirits when we hear the songs and know the testimonies of the
singers."

"For many years, Lyle, Jacque, Kim, and Don Schoon have been
successful, full time business persons here on the Western Slope of
Colorado. They also have been very active in all phases of Christian
service in their church and community, especially in music. The
Schoon's were asked to sing in their home church and others. Later,
they formed the Mid Valley Quartet. Even though they have full time
daily business schedules, weekends are filled with traveling
throughout Colorado, Kansas, Arizona, and Alaska singing the Gospel
message.
The
Schoon's are lifetime friends who have enriched and blessed my family
and me with their music. We are anxious to see their ministry of
music enlarged so multitudes of others in the Rocky Mountain empire
can enjoy the same spiritual uplift. I know personally their lives,
and the testimonial of their own commitment to the Lord. As spiritual
believers, devoted to their Lord, the Schoon's live what they sing and
are witnesses to the truth found in their songs. With deep biblical
insight and leading of the Holy Spirit, Don has composed and written
many of the beautiful hymns on these recordings.
We are fortunate that for the last few years, they
have been putting their beautiful and inspirational music on CD and
tapes so more people can be blessed and enriched. Their recordings
encourage the discouraged, help give spiritual comfort and release
from heavy burdens and cares, spiritually provide rest for tired
souls, and aid in carrying on every day, mundane activities.
Each recording is Inspirational, Scriptural, and
Spiritual!"
